  • We offer a variety of solutions available to purchase straight after your appointment from our reception to treat dry and sore eyes and other common conditions.

Julie and Andrew are also fully qualified to prescribe medications to treat red eyes and eye emergencies and can provide you with scripts to take directly to your local chemist for any medications that are not available over the counter.

Please pop ICU: (07) 3368 3644 in your phone so it is there for emergencies.

  • Ortho-k lenses are worn overnight (especially with children) to correct your vision during the day. This means you no longer need to wear contact lenses or specs during waking hours. Check out our page on ortho-k and myopia if this sounds like something that might work for you!

  • There are a variety of different contact lenses available that allow us to prescribe the right lenses to suit nearly everyone. Have a look at our contact lens page for more information.

  • We offer a wide variety of contact lenses for managing fussy eyes. Have a read to find out more about the options available to you.

  • We recommend a first examination between the ages of 4 and 5, and earlier if you have concerns. Kids find vision tests fun and engaging, and most of them emerge with beaming smiles!

  • We currently stock over 30 brands in store. These include men’s, women’s, children and unisex frames that cater to all ages and styles. Check out our frames range in store or head over to our eyewear page to learn more.

  • LLLT is along the lines of heat therapy, in that it gets your own natural oils flowing better, but at the same time as delivering heat, it delivers near-infrared LED light. This technology has been used in dermatology for many years, and since 2023 it’s been available for optometry and ophthalmology.

IPL is very similar, but rather than delivering heat, it delivers intense light. This technology was developed in 1992 and has been used in dermatology (for example in getting rid of “spider veins”) for many years, and since the early 2000s it’s been available for optometry and ophthalmology.
